street performance

We have been soooo busy, and now Im playing catch up! a few weeks ago we went to the international street performance in Merrion Square. It was a great day for all, I think the adults were having more fun though!! There was clay modelling for kids, face painting and this huge slide and the queue was over an hour long.....we opted out!
The shows were really good, there was jokes for kids and adults. It was hard trying to get pictures. I think these are the best ones.
After a long day we took a stroll down to Grafton Street, it was empty.....we listened to a brass band (4 piece) I havent a clue what that group would be called.. anyway they were playing chatanooga choochoo, american patrol, oh and pensylvania 65000, the girls were dancing. I have to admit I wanted to dance too but I controlled myself....stop laughing Sean!
The girls took pictures of the famine memorial at St Stephens Green it really is sad to look at, beautiful but sad.

It was such a wonderful day, lots of sun and a real festival atmosphere.
