everything green...

I love these colours. And Im not contrary and my garden grew!

This is some of the wonderful books the girls got on their trip to Roscrea Castle.

We just managed to catch the bumble bee gathering pollen. It took awhile as we chased it around the garden!

This plant never flowered until this year. Its the most amazing purply-blue as Sadhbh said.

Most of my lovely plants are now flowering in the garden. Last year wasnt as successful, we noticed some of the plants were missing the tops! I believe a football was responsible! though nobody seems to have kicked it....its the football troll

Anyway I couldnt let them bloom without taking some pics, unfortunately we dont know the name of some as we lost the tags.

We visited Roscrea Castle and the staff there are so nice and very patient. On the day that we went we were the only tour whoo hoo...it was great. The girls asked lots of questions and one very interesting one about the loo.

When we finished they gave the girls these fantastic packs full of information on Roscrea Castle and other places of interest including books on flowers, fossils and sealife. The kids room is brilliant they can even draw their own castle on the hugh blackboard wall and make the archway with soft blocks and it must stay up!
Well done OPW this is a great place for homeschoolers.

The girls enjoyed drawing their castles in
the kids area. We were here for ages.

Roscrea Castle, you can go right to the top and they also have a display to show how the draw bridge operates.

the way to the dungeon!

This is in the kids area in Roscrea Castle. It gives kids a clear idea of how erosion happens

This is the LOO! and when used, it just, well I wouldnt have liked to be under that!
